As a music director and choral conductor, Christina has worked for 20 years in churches on the east coast, planning programs and preparing choirs for performance and worship.
She has been successful in receiving grants and implementing programs for the underserved communities in Western New York. During her 12 year tenure as Music Director for the Cheektowaga Community Chorus, Christina was able to showcase her love of history with special thematic programs celebrating the Erie Canal, Canada Our Neighbor to the North, and the 100th Anniversary celebration of the Pan American Exposition.
Receiving a New York State grant to establish a Music Festival celebrating the New Millennium, Christina founded and directed the Millennium Youth Chorus' performance in Festival Jamboree 2000 in Cheektowaga, New York. The festival concerts included a pops concert, youth festival day, a sacred choral concert, and community sing-ins featuring Handel's Messiah.
